Home Reno Project
This was a home renovation done for my final project! My client loves the outdoors so I incorporated wood accents and neutral tones to bring that outdoor feeling indoors. He also runs a pottery business so I gave him a beautiful studio so he can work from home!
The guest bedroom is the definition of bringing the outdoors in. It features a beautiful green accent wall and wood finishes. Since my client loves the outdoors we also incorporated blue into the space with the bed, nightstands, and rug which resembles waves on the beach. It is the perfect place to end the day and relax.
For the downstairs living room, I wanted to create a cozy and organic vibe. With the green accent wall, wood built-in storage, and greenery, it brings that outdoor feeling indoors. It’s the perfect space to entertain guests or just to come and relax quietly.
The powder room was finished with bright walls which makes the space feel open and airy. The floating vanity creates and very spa like vibe and allows for extra storage underneath if needed. Since I wanted the whole house to be cohesive, I wanted to add wood accents and natural colours to tie the space together.
Since my client runs a pottery business and studio from home, I knew that I had to create a comfortable working space for him. I wanted to keep it very organic and natural by using wood accents and greenery. I also incorporated a wall-to-wall counter and shelving which will allow him to display his beautiful work.
